Cancellation Policy
At S. is for Skin, we understand that life can be unpredictable. However, to respect both our time and yours, we kindly request a 24-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduled appointments. Failure to do so will result in an automatic 50% fee of the scheduled service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Retinol & Prescriptions
Using retinol and acne prescriptions prior to a skincare or waxing service can cause increased skin sensitivity, redness, irritation, and even potential damage. These products can thin the skin and make it more prone to tearing or burning during waxing, leading to discomfort and possible complications like scarring or hyper-pigmentation. It's recommended to avoid these products in the area intended to be treated for 7 days before and 7 days after your skincare or waxing service to ensure the skin is in the best condition for treatment.
Contraindications for Peels & Micro-Needling
-Pregnant or Breastfeeding
-Acne medications like Acccutane, Clindamycin, Doxycycline, ect…
-Antibiotics
-Retinol/Vitamin A use 7 days prior to your treatment
-Active skincare products like AHAs & BHAs 72 hours prior to your treatment
-Radiation Therapy
- Sunburn/Sun exposed skin in the area intended for treatment
